tonight i am a littel drunk and i miss him so much i can't stand it.
i have been fine allweek until now tonight.
becuasuse i am wathcing a good year with very manly rusel crowe and we watched it at movies together and made plans for our good life together that now we cant ever have because he doesnt love me enough to leave what i bleieve religiously alone.
Emily,
I think a lot of us have posted/sent emails etc when we've been particularly down (or a little tiddly) and then felt embarrassed afterwards, so you're not alone there!
Don't worry about it. Feeling grief at losing someone is a natural thing, and wanting to tell friends about your pain is also very natural. It's a pretty unavoidable part of the healing process, I think. Things will get better and you life will move on quicker than you think.
In a couple of months you'll be posting here, dispensing advice to all and sundry as though all this were ancient history!

Ummmm........would it be too dorky to suggest Mythbusters? Have to love Kari Byron...................
Other than that, I think the US produces the snazziest dramas - House, CSI, Grey's, Sopranos, etc.
Whereas the UK has some really clever satire - Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You.

a friend kindly pointed out it was friday 13th!!!
now i am not normally superstitious about anything, but i try and avoid going out on a full moon and am not overly keen on friday 13th.
i know its irrational but hey - i'm female (sorry that was a bad joke)!.
Crumples,
It's just a number, hon, nothing more.

i was prompted to think further about this today when i was reading the following in a book called "headhunters":.
"e-mails are a love of mine.
i prefer them to communicating by word of mouth.
Face to face over a candle-lit dinner, moving onto face-to-face over a shared pillow.

i've succumbed to the awesomev trailers all over myspace and everywhere else i look and have booked my tickets.
its ages since we had a good sci fi thriller on the big screen so i am hoping its going to be good.. has anyone else seen it yet?
anyone planning to go?.
Crumples,
Haven't seen it as yet, although James King wasn't too flattering on Edith Bowman's radio show yesterday. He said the film was aimed at 'chin-strokey critcs' rather than yer paying punter. Clever effects, but a claustrophobic storyline that really had nowhere to go.

it is my parents wedding anniversary saturday and every year since i left i have always sent them a card.
i wondered whether i should or not this year.
on balance i wasn't sure what would upset them more - waiting for a card that never came, or receiving a card at all, especially since i said in december that i wouldn't "bother" them anymore.. anyway it felt right to send a card so i did and i decided to put a little note inside, folded and bearing the message: "my news, but don't read it if you aren't interested".
You're a class act Nina.
No anguish, no recriminations, no attacks. Just a calm and friendly note.
I, for one, can't even imagine what you've had to deal with over the years since you left, but you keep on shining through!

just thought i'd do something i always wanted too.
mr c always said he's dump me if i had a tattoo, well we're not together anymore so i can and i am!
richie or those in the know - how much pain can i expect to look forward to?.
Crumples!
You want a tattoo? You go and get one! You're of age and smart enough to know your own mind.

i am still watching this documentary .
the phelps family are described as "the most hated family in america" .. why does so much of what they say sound so horribly familiar?
that is scary ... why does what they say in public sound very much like what dubs say among themselves in private.
slightly related, Crumples? Wrong forum honey...
It was very interesting, if only to reinforce the knwledge that the majority of people will continue to believe into adulthod whatever nonsense they've been indoctrinated with as a kid. That was the scary bit.
